Comment: Although BFSU requires LOTS of prep work and 100% parent/teacher involvement, it is by far the the best science program I've seen. Instead of teaching a unit of life science, then earth science, etc, BFSU teaches all four main categories in tandem. For example, when teaching about How Things Move, you will begin with the concept of potential/kinetic energy, then move on to how muscles work; hand cranks, spring loads, electrical operated, etc: then on to water and wind power, etc.
