Comment: I like the Killgallon writing books. He has ones from elementary up through college. It is a curriculum that helps you build variety into your writing. I wouldn't say that it is a stand alone writing curriculum, but it is good to use with something that instructs in the more technical parts of writing. This curriculum does require some creativity so if the child isn't naturally creative, it might be more difficult. It is relatively easy to use with lessons that don't take a long time.
