Comment: We reference this book frequently when studying geography. Great book! We enjoy the text and pictures. It is a little outdated (last update was 2002, I believe). We also use the current edition of Operation World which has more up to date statistics.
Comment: We used this in our geography studies, and it's a great overview with colored photos, and I love that it gives ways to pray for that country, and how God is working in those countries. This book is completely from a Christian perspective.

Comment: What a great book! Gorgeous photos help children see what the people of various countries and people groups look like, personal stories help 'bring to life' those same people, and the prayer points are very useful in guiding a child's prayers for the world.

Comment: I use this as one of my geography spines. I love the full-color photographs and the detailed information. My kids are young so I read it and summarize the country or people group. The countries and people groups are listed alphabetically. I would prefer if it listed everything by countries and then stated the people group. It would make using the book a little easier if you are not reading it straight though.
